So Grateful!
Well, we are soooooo close to the big day! By that I mean THANKSGIVING! I hope all of our families have not skipped this important American holiday by jumping ahead to Christmas planning. Yes, of course, remembering Christ at Christmas is the reason for that season, but, we are in this month of gratitude still. So I want to be sure and express my gratitude for each of our families who send us your pride and joy and entrust us with their formation in the faith! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! It is also with gratitude that I say thank you to our HASA and parents who have showered our teachers and staff with so many tangible gifts of cookies, meals, coffee, candy and more! At St. Francis we are blessed to have such a strong partnership which helps our students become the best they can be due to the home-school connection!
If you are blessed to have enough food to eat this holiday season, would you please share with our friends at the House of Bread? We are collecting items for them at the All-School Mass next Tuesday. Here is a list of preferred items:
Tuna
Soups of any kind
Canned fruits
Canned vegetables
Breakfast bars
Granola bars
Hamburger helper boxed meals
Instant Oatmeal
